If you have a passion for using video to tell stories, and if you want a chance to get better, then we invite you to enter the BIGG Filmmakers Challenge. To apply, create a short video that shows your skills and tells us why you should be selected.
If you are chosen, you’ll receive individual mentoring from professionals as you create a short film for a local nonprofit.
The final four contestants will receive coaching from Steve Hartman, an Emmy Award winner and writer/producer of CBS’ popular On the Road segment. He will help finalists with their next challenge creating an inspirational short film on a local subject.
The two finalists will receive $250 and an invitation to be the filmmaker for a BIGG project.
The winner will be recognized on stage and have their film shown on the big screen at the red carpet BIGG Premiere.
Applications accepted through October 3rd.
This Workshop & Challenge are open to students from middle school through college.
